Either 1 hour or 1 hr 15 mins, it just depends on the day/time/tutor. The majority are 1 hr 15 mins.

All of our students work 1-2-1 with the tutor based on their own individual needs. They taught as part of a small group though, with a maximum of 5 students per tutor at any time. So all students get lots of 1-2-1 with their tutor but also short spells of independent working time in-between the 1-2-1 time to give them a chance to practice independently what they have just worked on 1-2-1 with the tutor. This combination or 1-2-1 and independent work is crucial in helping students build up their confidence, independence and knowledge. They need time to practice and think for themselves, they don’t often remember if they’re just talked to!

Yes, absolutely, safeguarding is central to all we do. All our tutors are subject to regular enhanced DBS checks.
